Our Love Story We’re so excited to share a little piece of our journey with you, as we prepare to celebrate our wedding in Lisbon, our second home. Bruno’s story begins in Damaia, Portugal, where he was born and raised before moving to England at 11 years old. Little did he know, his future wife, Tayla, was just across the park at a school of her own, their paths unknowingly close even back then. Fast forward 15 years, and fate finally had its way. Our first date was at Coconut Bar. Bruno, eager to impress, ordered some fancy food and wine, and Tayla, trying to be polite, pretended to like every single bite. The night didn’t end there, though—we moved from bar to bar, laughing, talking, and finally finding ourselves at Purple Turtle, staying until the lights came on. Just before we called it a night, Bruno dropped a surprise: he had a driving test the next morning! We joked that Tayla might just be his good luck charm… and, sure enough, he passed. That same year, Portugal went on to win the Euros, confirming that Tayla’s was indeed his good luck charm. Soon after, Tayla would often take little detours through The Oracle, hoping to catch a glimpse of Bruno in his sharp Hugo Boss suit—though whether he was truly hard at work or just looking sharp is up for debate!
